I am pleased to announce the issuance of the "Payor and Medical Provider Guidelines to Improve the Coordination of Medical Services" effective July 1, 2010.
For your convenience, copies may be downloaded from the Commission’s website at https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/WCC/publications/professional-guides/payor-provider-guidelines.pdf or picked up at any of our district offices.
This document establishes the guidelines that the Workers' Compensation Commission will utilize in resolving issues that may arise for either payors or medical providers who practice within the workers' compensation system.
In order to provide sufficient time to become familiar with the provisions contained therein, the effective date for adherence to these guidelines is July 1, 2010.
