RE: Stipulations - § 31-303

The Workers’ Compensation Commissioners will not approve any stipulation in which the injured employee completely waives his/her rights pursuant to § 31-303. The Commission is willing to have the time frame extended from 10 days to 30 days but will not accept any provision that extends beyond that time limit.
