WCC Voluntary Agreements Memorandum - May 21, 1997

TO: All Commissioners, District Office Supervisors, Insurance Carriers, Self-Insureds, Attorneys and Unions
FROM: Jesse M. Frankl, Chairman
DATE: May 21, 1997
RE: Voluntary Agreements

If an agreement has been reached with an injured employee that the matter is being accepted by the employer/insurance carrier, it is imperative that the employer/insurance carrier issue a Voluntary Agreement to be signed by the injured employee and approved by the Workers' Compensation Commission. It is expected that Voluntary Agreements on accepted cases will be submitted as soon as possible prior to or subsequent to the first informal hearing.
