WCC Welcomes New Commissioner

January 7, 2008

The Workers’ Compensation Commission is pleased to welcome Jodi Murray Gregg as our newest Workers’ Compensation Commissioner. A graduate of Northeastern University in Criminal Law, Commissioner Gregg received her Juris Doctor from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 1993.

Gregg has been practicing for a number of years in her own law firm, where her experience has included criminal law (as a special public defender), family matters, housing, real estate (specializing in representing and educating first time home buyers), juvenile law, and child protection. She has also served as the Fairfield County Senior Program Director for Lawyers for Children America, where among her accomplishments were the supervision of 125 attorneys with an average of 150 cases per year and the training of attorneys from major Connecticut law firms and corporate legal departments in the area of child protection law.

Gregg’s volunteer public service record has included membership on a number of Boards of Directors, including New Neighborhood, Inc., Belltown Manor, Girls Inc., and the Reggie Lewis Foundation. She is also a frequent guest speaker.

Congratulations Commissioner Gregg and welcome to the Workers’ Compensation Commission!
