v.

EMPLOYER

RESPONDENT-APPELLEE

and

GALLAGHER BASSETT SERVICES, INC.

ADMINISTRATOR

ORDER

The September 6, 2016 decision of the Supreme Court, Estate of Rock v. University of Connecticut, 323 Conn. 26 (2016), reversed in part the board’s October 16, 2014 Opinion holding “an estate is not a legal entity capable of advancing a claim for any form of workers’ compensation benefits, . . . .” Id., 28. In light of the Supreme Court’s decision, the board’s conclusion that an estate can act as a “legal representative” of the deceased employee is vacated. In all other respects our opinion stands.
